So, you studied for months, a couple of years maybe for an exam which is going to determine your ability in just a matter of few hours. It seems a bit scary but it really is not if you have prepared well.

You look at the question paper and think to yourself “Oh! I know every answer”. Well, that’s great but that excitement and pressure to finish exam in just a few hours might cause you take make some silly mistakes which can make a huge impact on your results, and hence, your future life. It could be anything like instead of writing 201 you would write 210. Now, that’s silly. Isn’t it?

So, this article is focused to help you avoid those silly mistakes in exams. Here are some simple tips.

  • Mark Down Important Points

Write down important points of you answers at the back of you answer sheet as soon as you get it. Why? Because it must have happened to you many times that when you read questions, many possible answers come flashing in your mind but as soon as you start writing your answer you forget some of those points or might not even remember forgetting them. So, just to avoid that situation take out your pencil and jot down those points somewhere at the back of your answer sheet.

  • Speak While Reading and Writing

It does not mean that you should literally speak and disturb others. It means that you should speak inside your mind. Speaking will help you understand the question better in a better way and you will write what you speak. It will help you not make any mistake while writing.

  • Read the Last Line of The Question

Always read the question very carefully, especially the last line. It happens sometimes that we’re in a hurry and don’t read it carefully enough and misunderstand the question. It can ruin your whole answer. The last line of the question tells you what is expected in the answer. So, just be careful while reading the question.

  • Use an Used Pen

Seems weird, right? But it’s not. A fresh, or new pen isn’t as smooth while on the other hand, an old pen is very smooth to write with and helps you write faster. Trust on this one. This trick always work.

  • Take Proper Rest Before Exam

If you studied hard for a long time for your exam then a mere revision a night before your exam isn’t much help. Plus, being tired isn’t going to help you in your exam. It is very important than your mind is calm and cool before and during an exam. This way you will have better concentration during your exam.
